Leila Roach

Dr. Leila Roach is an Associate Professor of Counseling with a specialty in Marriage, Couple, & Family Counseling at Stetson University in Deland, Florida. She spent 4 months working at the National Referral Hospital in the capital city of Bhutan in the fall of 2013 with the National Board of Certified Counselors International. She received her masters degree from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennesse and PhD from the University of Central Florida. She has also worked with children, teens, adults, and families for 25 years, and has been a counselor educator for the past 10 years. She enjoys life with her husband and has an adult son and daughter-in-law who bring great joy to her life.

Lucy Robinson:

Lucy Robinson is an Occupational Therapist from London, UK. Her main background is in acute inpatient mental health and secure mental health rehabilitation. She was delighted to be the first qualified mental health OT to work in Bhutan. Her specialities are in group work and in engaging psychiatric inpatients in meaningful activities.
